Island Jerk Beef Chili
Serving Size: 20
2 pounds beef stew meat, diced
2 onions, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1 16 ounce can of diced tomatoes
1 16 ounce can of tomato puree
1 16 ounce can of white beans (your favorite)
1 butternut squash, peeled and diced
2 dark beers
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons Island Jerk Seasoning
¼ cup of diced chocolate
1 tablespoon beef base
Water, as needed to thin out the chili to your desired consistency
In a large soup pot over med-high heat, add the beef and brown.
Add all the ingredients except the beans.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1 hour.
Add your beans, water if necessary, and enjoy.
